Ringo started out as a character in a comic I did in high school which was heavily influenced by the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, so I did a little tribute to them. The OG Ringo was named Buck, and his two friends were a hedgehog named Rudy and a skunk named Kirtland Air Force Base (or "Kirt" for short)
