When I first saw this I thought the background was a photo. ^^
Maybe it is based upon a photo... that is what I do, as well. BUT I remember you've showed me the first steps of the drawing and some WIP... and I could already glance at the background and characters.

Still, this is nothing compared to the final version... the background here looks fantastic and very realistic. Also, the shading and lighting makes it so real and great to look at.
And furthermore, though I don't really know these characters, you were able to blend them in pretty well!
The lighting and shading works and they don't look out of place.

I also like how you've done the texture/colour/shading of the cloth. The pants look especially good and have something... well, they have a certain feel to it... as if I can almost touch and feel the cloth.

And a very fine effect (which I also use very often) is the bright light hitting the blue jeans from behind.... this light gives the legs and pants a very full and realistic touch. The leg looks much more heavy this way and it is just a good addition to the overall lighting.

Heheh indeed, I also felt that from far away the pic was more like a characters drawn over a photo XD
I really am not a huge expert with inner buildings but this one came out great for me with the illumination and the coloring touches owoº

Took me a bunch working on this and to match both characters and background (I was even afraid that both wouldnt fit well in there since I put a lot of work, time and effort i the background and didnt want to make the characters less detailed compared to the background. But Içm so glad to hear that everything came out as good as you´re watching owo
