Here is a gnoll I'm thinking of using in dnd. He's from a plains gnoll war band that was taken out when he was young. As a young gnoll he was sold as a slave and later became a gladiator. Learning to fight from his mentor and in the rink, he still heard workers from Yeenoguh (the demon leader of gnolls) to learn abyssal and start following his path. Imprinting a very close pack mentor he finally broke at his death, killing most of the gladiator leaders and escaping towards the leaders old group. Now he'll do literally anything to help the group of his former mentor, though he'll also try to kill and eat any non-group members he can get away with in the name of Yeenoguh in his spare time.
