How did you do the paint job? I mean, you weren't actually wearing the suit while painting, huh? ^^ Curious to know if you stuffed it or what, since I'm looking at a project which requires a similar suit meself. And honestly I'm blank on how to achieve a smooth good looking paint job, which you obviously excelled in! Gorgeous suit, be proud!
I put the unitard on a duct tape dummy and painted it.
However I wouldn't recommend it. The bumby nature of a DTD is okay for making fursuits , it's not great for painting on.
Lots of cats costumers paint on manequinns, or stretch the unitard over a board, paint it flat and THEN sew it together once it's painted.
