So the local Anime con, Doujin Overload was afew months ago and I wanted to whip up a gasmask sort of thing for it. Inspired by the fishmen in the Doctor Who episode, "The Doctor's Daughter", I can blow bubbles in the bottle in the front. Looks pretty badass, made afew people squeel with delight. I was gunna do an armoured vest to complete the costume, but ran out of time.

The core of the costume is made from those plastic bedrolls you take camping, $20 a sheet(which will make you about two masks). Used a cheap plastic mask($2) as the base(with epic fail guys stunning goodlooks. The mesh from a cooking spit guard($8), hose ends($3), Craft beads ($3 for a bag of a million), Car part(free from the local garage, just remember to ask before you dumpster dive kids), Purified water bottle($5 took a lot of looking to find just the right shape and size), two plastic storage bowls($5 for 3), a mountain of hot glue(erm about 6-12 sticks, $0.60 each), one black and one grey spraypaint($6 each) and abit of imagination and time.

Was asked a by more than a few people who I was and I just blew bubbles. Some people thought StarWars, Fallout and even Desert Punk, I think I like the Fallout suggestion the best.
