Trying to illegally cross the border during an android crisis is not really the smartest thing to do, especially so if you happen to be less than a foot tall.
Markus found that out the hard way when one of the guards spotted him. He tried to dash away at first but his agility only took him so far until he found himself in the shadow of the soldier’s heavy boot. Pressed down firm into the floor Markus quickly realized he had absolutely no desire to resist. He doubted they had protocol for micros like him anyway.
A temperature scanner buzzed and then clicked, confirming the pipsqueak as, in fact, a human making the soldier above sigh as he knelt to get a better look at Markus. “Of all the times little guy…” The giant said giving Markus an almost sympathetic look as he shook his head “You pick now. What am I gonna do with you?”
