WHY IS THERE NO CRAB IN THE SPECIES TAGS?!
So for this year Auckland Armageddon I pulled out all the stops and made myself a Zoidberg costume! Well sorta I really wanted medical scrubs, but couldn't get my hands on any so went for a summer Zoid' look!
Ladies loved me, kids loved me, Parents loved me. The costume was an epic success, well mostly, I could enter is in the cosplay contest, cause I missed the deadline by a week...note this people you need to register for the Armageddon cosplay contest like days before the con even opens!!! MADNESS! So I was alittle disappiont, but those the breaks. Alot of people said I would have won if I'd been allowed in. But saved me wearing him around a whole extra day. The feet force me to wlk like Zoidberg too, which is both coola nd alot of exercise!
Made mostly from Bedroll foam, with latex to smooth the textures, polyfiller to fill the gaps, bandages to wrap the tentacles, a polystyrene ball for the eyes, an epic ammount of pepper(about a 2 litre containers worth) for the crabby exoskeleton texture on the skin, one cheap masquerade mask as a starter, a tone of hot glue, alot of liquid latex(mixed with acrylic paints) and finally a ton of spray paint(5 cans from memory).
Any question you have, just let me know and if you have any photo's of me, I wanta see them!!!

Yeh, those(tentacles) always baffled me in the concept stage, I wanted to make moving ones, but didn't have the technical know-how. Kinda got lucky, if I were to do it again, they'd be more uniform. OH! Krang huh? I could do that! It'd be neat, when TMNT was big down here(80's) I had a Krang Bday cake made for me! It was epic.
