All commissions, trades, etc. are subject to the terms presented here!
I've moved all the other stuff into the Commission Info submission details, so now this should be a lot more palatable and easy-to-read~!
Terms of Service
-Don't Forget to Pay! I don't charge up front, but I won't finish your piece until you pay up. If you skip out on payment for one week, I will more than likely put your piece aside to work on the next item in the queue; if you keep me waiting for months without giving me any indication of what the holdup is, I may cancel your commission and scrap the sketch. If you need more time, that's fine, but please let me know! Otherwise I will simply assume that you're not going to pay.
-I Don't Answer to You! While it is the last thing I want to do, as the artist, I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission at any time, for any reason. I will do my best to be clear as to why your commission was declined/cancelled, although if you were being a pest then chances are you already know why.
-Gallery Uploads! I must insist I be allowed to upload all completed pictures publicly, for other people to enjoy and appreciate. If you would rather I didn't, then chances are I will decline your commission request.
-Character Permissions! To avoid stepping on peoples' toes, I require written permission from the owner(s) of any character(s) you wish for me to draw that you do not own yourself (this can include either a direct message from the owner or a public indication of their allowance for use of their characters). If I can't tell up front, I'll be asking the owner myself; unfortunately, this does mean that surprise gifts may not work out, so keep that in mind!
-Don't Repost or Alter My Art! I'm flattered if you like my art that much, but please respect the artist! If I catch you posting something without my explicit permission*, there's gonna be trouble!
*If you ASK me, I may grant you permission to upload something of mine--chiefly if you had a hand in actually making it--but I maintain the right to request you take it down at any time, for any reason.
-Be Polite, Be Patient! Let's just all be friends, alright? Once I accept your request, I will get it done in my own time--ideally less than a few weeks, but sometimes circumstances don't allow me to get things done that fast--so don't feel like I've abandoned you! You can always ask for a progress update if you wish, just please don't bombard me with update requests on a daily basis! If you start harassing me or anyone else on my page, I have the right to terminate your commission, as well as our business relationship. So please, be nice!
-All Sales Final! Because I do not ask for payment until you have specifically given me approval to color the sketch, you have every opportunity to not pay if you're not satisfied with what I show you. Once you've paid for the piece, there's no going back*, so make sure you're totally satisfied with it before you give me the green light!
*The one exception is if for any reason I am completely unable to finish your picture (such as if I get in an accident or something) after having already received payment, I can offer you a refund if you wish; you can also choose to wait until I'm back on my feet, but it's up to you! Note that, once a refund has been successfully issued, that commission is considered terminated and will not be completed.
