So, into the work I did on Starlight...not visible (or audible) is her tail work. The whole filling is contained in a lining bag so it can be removed, and there's an internal zipper to keep it all neat and tidy. There's also bells in the tip, which is actually hollow now so I might need to see about moving the tail filling down a bit or at least finding something to keep the bells from being damaged if she gets stepped on...although I normally carry my tail.

The back spikes are no longer painted foam! They're now fabric with a sparkle mesh over top, like her mouth and eyes. They're a lot lighter but I do need to do another quick tack stitch on the large one to keep it more upright since gravity pulls it down. Expect some better pics in the future that show this off.
