Heya Auri.
I've decided I'm going to write letters to you guys, even if I don't know exactly how I'm going to get them to you yet.
I'm so sorry I had to leave you like that. I didn't want to. But I want to let you know that I'm okay here, wherever "here" is. Right now I'm hiding out in a garden-y place with a lake, filled with little moon spirits that are shaped kind of like earth bunnies. They're kind of timid and jumpy, but I guess Ari used to act like a mother to them, so they like me a lot. And I have to admit, they are VERY cute. They say that every night they travel to the mortal world to feed on moonlight and dreams, but because they're so timid, they stay intangible. Maybe if I can find one brave enough I can ask them to deliver this to you?
I've been looking for a way home... if there is one I haven't found it yet. But Ari did it once, a long time ago, or I wouldn't exist. So there has to be a way.
Until then, I guess I'll be waiting here for you. I know you'll find a way, you always do.
Waiting for you,
- Lunari
**FLAILS ARMS** I am SO SORRY about the utter lack of artwork lately. I've been going through some health issues-- nothing MAJOR major but they just keep dragging on and on-- and when I find myself with enough energy to draw or some other creative endeavor, I get to deal with art block.
Anyway. Some stuff happened and SURPRISE Lunari got Yue'd. She's a moon goddess now.
I actually have a whole sketchbook sheet of different types of moon elementals that I drew in an attempt to fight back the art block, but unsurprisingly, they are all cute. EVERYTHING I DRAW IS CURSED BY CUTE. The moon rabbits are my favorite though. They're inspired by many earth stories about rabbits being associated with the moon, some of them going back to ancient China, Japan, and even some native American cultures.
