Animation commission for 
the-b3ing which was way wayyyy overdue
Man i don't think i've ever attempted something as many times as i did this little animation, the idea was pretty simple, two big guys belly bumping, however making it look good was a whole other story.
At first it didn't have enough impact, and i still kinda feel like it doesn't, i wanted to have them take a leap and then jump up and then bump for maximum bump-factor, but that proved to be really difficult, and kinda unrealistic considering both characters are so darn heavy.
In the end i'm really glad i managed to finish something i'm proud of, the audio was challenging to pick and choose as well, as i can kinda imagine the sound a belly bump would make, but i can't seem to replicate it x3

I'm no animator, but I thought I'd like to address a little critique that I think would help with the issue you had saying "it wasn't as impactful as you hoped it to be". Even though they're not moving that fast, regardless when they do collide there should be an aftershock rippling though their bodies. Nothing too great or complicated considering again they're not moving that fast, but something subtle like body fat rippling or their guts bouncing up and down to convey the heft and force being put into two clashing bodies.
It also helps in improving the climax where you have a build up of them running at each other, and then to show that exchange of forces between them only amplifies the experience and feel of what you're trying to animate.
