Now here we go with me meeting her parents. I don't think her body came out quiet right but I certainly tried to make the dress sparkle.

Amorous Love Chapter 12: Her Parents
It was a month later that it finally happened with meeting Skye’s parents. She and Nicholas had discussed and planned this as this was meant to be a good first impression on her folks. Another was to get the necessary clothes and for him to earn enough money for the special dinner. Luckily the fosky had been saving up but needed a little more. Luckily the guy knew the perfect place; Giardino d’Acqua. It was a fancy restaurant off Main Street and perfect for a special meeting or date night. Kane and Darcy were surprised by this when Nicholas told them about it, but figured it was for the best. Nicholas had settled nicely in their apartment; even the sex his roommates had didn’t bother him. The male was able to get the reservations worked out and it was on.
The night of found the guy changed into his suit and doing last minute checks. “Here goes nothing,” he said to his reflection in the mirror and went out to his car. Nicholas was sure to show up early to the place. The restaurant was back from the road and the squat building there in the middle of a curving stream acted as a moat you had to cross on an ornate wooden bridge. In the evening light, the flowers and varied plants were lit by subtle lamps raising from the water. The restaurant itself had an open veranda’s looking down on the fish pounds linked by the artificial steam channels. Nicholas now saw that this really was a fancy place but had made the right call. The sound of classy music came from the open door where a maître d’ in a pristine suit was waiting to take reservations. The fosky went over and got everything confirmed and checked out.
He was directed to the table and tried to relax his nerves as there was a tense moment coming up. Five minutes later, he looked and saw Skye coming in with two other foxes who had to be her parents. The fosky stood up and waved over to her. His girl came up and both got smiles. She was in a wonderful blue dress that sparkled and fit her frame well. Nicholas and her paws came together. “Good evening Skye,” he said softly. “You look absolutely beautiful…”
She smiled and blushed but felt pleasure and happiness hearing that from her guy. “You’re very handsome to…” the vixen whispered.
Nicholas then looked up to her parents. The mother vixen had the same body type as her daughter but the eye color was different. She did have the pink nose and the same beauty. It was from her father that Skye had gotten her fur color and markings. The fosky let go of Skye’s paws and put on a small bow to her parents. “I’m very pleased and honored I finally get to meet you,” the long-haired male said. “I want you to know that I have nothing but Skye’s happiness in mind and is my first priority.”
Her parents were a little taken aback at how charming and polite this guy was. Their daughter hadn’t really mentioned him too much, only that she might be getting a boyfriend. “Please, let us sit.” Nicholas pulled out Skye’s seat for her and waited for her and her parents to sit before he did.
“So…. Nicholas right?” said her father.
“Yes sir,” the fosky replied.
“So… Skye tell us you’re dating her…”
“I am. That’s why I have her happiness first all the time.”
“She’s told us now you’re the reason she’s changed her fur color as well.”
“Well… I don’t know if I should take all the credit sir and ma’am,” Nicholas replied, looking to Skye with a smile.
“But I really feel that if I hadn’t met you and fallen in love with you I would still be as how you found me that first night,” she said to him with a smile of her own.
“Then I guess we both helped each other out.” The fosky turned back to her parents. “I was somewhat stuck with my life and meeting her was the step needed to get it moving again. I’ve found things to do and a purpose again. So we’ve both helped each other in that sense.”
Her parents looked at the other, seeing from their daughter and this guy how much they had left an impact on each other. “Well… I will say we were surprise to hear from her she might be dating someone,” the vixen mother said. “She’s never really dated and we both freaked out.”
“I heard from her and I do apologize. I don’t have a daughter so I don’t know what it’s like when parents hear that their daughter’s found love. I didn’t mean to cause a problem at all.”
Just then the waiter came up, which distracted the group as they began to look at the menus. “Get whatever you want,” Nicholas told Skye. “I have enough to pay for both of us.”
“Oooh you are so sweet,” she cooed. Her parents saw this interaction and her mother couldn’t help but smile as she thought it was cute. Her father, not as much and he frowned.
They got what they wanted and the parent were fine with paying for their half of the meal. The conversation turned to what Nicholas did, and how he had helped Skye. While the parents were surprised to learn he was in a band, they were more pleased how he had defended their daughter from those girls in the store, how he had supported her in her interests, and making her gain the confidence of being grey that she now had. Her style in clothing had changed a little as well as the pants were new. But the thing that made them happy was how she was bubbly and happy to be with Nicholas. The meal was great with the talking and the food was excellent. Overall, this was the right choice and it had been a success.
A couple of hours later, the small group of four left the restaurant. Nicholas was happy this had worked and also for his girl as they had talked about her finding a job and also moving out as well. Nothing was set in stone, but the vixen was moving on with her life. “Well, guess I hope you have a goodnight, all of you,” the fosky said to the family.
“Yes, and thank you for this,” her father said. “But thank you most of all for meeting Skye. We feel this is a right choice.” The two males shook paws and her mother gave him a hug. Skye and Nicholas had a kiss before he watched her drive them off. It had been a wonderful night and now there was more to look forward to in the future.
