Dee and Kat take Dani for a tropical island getaway to escape the cold of winter for a while. The ladies relax with colorful rum punches, while watching Danielle try to paw-catch fish from the little stream running out of the jungle, laughing at herself and her inability to catch a single one.

Oh goodness, that background looks amazing! nivarra really pulled out all the stops on this one! I love the thick, lush greenery all along the beach, running to what look like mountains in the distance, and the beach itself and the ocean are beautifully done. It looks like such a warm, inviting place, and just the perfect spot to spend the winter.
Also, hooray for more of Kat, Dee and Danielle. They're such a cute little family, and Kat and Dee both look so beautiful! I love how proud they both look of their cute little pup, too, and how happy she looks with her little fishy game. After everything those two have been through, they've definitely earned their vacation!

I have to agree. Salty really outdid herself with the background in particular. I love this picture so much!! Like you, I'm happy to see the whole family enjoying a relaxing vacation that they so richly deserve.
I kind of prefer female Dee. I wonder if Kat does. I haven't asked her about that, but considering her background and family, it wouldn't surprise me.

You know my whole family is very ecologically up to date and correct. We try to leave any campsite or place we picnic looking better and cleaner than we found it. You'll see nothing but those footprints after we're gone. (and maybe a couple less fish in the lagoon if Dani is successful in catching them)
Aawwwww, just look at these three, how cute they are! Especially little Danielle with her fish catching game. That's just precious! I love how happy the three of them look, and the fun, calm, relaxed feel of the scene. The background is simply gorgeous, too, and those trees simply beg to be explored by a playful little pup.
Also, Kat and Dee are still blazing hot, even after becoming parents. I dunno where Dee gets it, but Kat clearly takes after her Mom that way!

They ARE having a wonderful vacation! I wouldn't doubt that they'll explore the forest quite a bit. It's so interesting looking.

Aw, but I think you absolutely can take credit, at least for Kat. You are her Mamma after all, so where would she be without you? All your daughters are gorgeous!

Thanks, Femm! I know they are making the most of their time there. And yes, I think travel is very good for youngsters. Let them see how broad the world really is.
Dani sees them shift at least once a month, and has since birth. So to her it's perfectly natural and she feels completely comfortable with them in either shape and gender. I've never thought about how much her friends might know about the family's quirky side. I'd imagine there would be more than one type of reaction to it. Some might accept it and some might find it hard to accept. That could make school a bit difficult once she is old enough to go.
