Courage the Cowardly Dog: A Courageous Rescue (Chapter 8)

Chapter 8: A Courageous Reunion
A pair of dogs similar looking to Courage. One has a mustache while the other is in a hat, shoes and carries a purse. It’s his parents!
Courage sees them and was surprised at them. “Mom? Dad?” Courage asked.
Maria gasps. “Is that, our little boy?”
“In the fur.” Said Courage.
This makes both parents grin widely. “Hello son!” Henry said.
All three head closer to each other as they give each other a big hug. This makes Courage cry tears of joy. “I’ve been waiting so long for this!” he says through his happy weeping.
“I’m glad you found them.” said Milo.
Maria noticed him. “Milo? I see you helped Conrad here.”
Milo responds “Yes I did as he asked me.”
“It’s true. I first saw him and asked him to help me find you two.” Courage added.
“And here we are as one whole happy family again.” said Maria hugging Courage again.
“I hope things weren’t too hard for you over the past few years while we were separated” Henry said.
“Well actually...it’s a bit of a long story” Courage says sitting down on a rock and telling them all his adventures.
Several hours later, he finished with his most recent one of finding the two of them.
“So Courage is your name to them?” Maria says.
“Yep, and I’ve gotten much braver since then.” Says Courage.
“We’d like to meet them.” Henry said. He then looks at Milo. “Want to come with us Milo?”
Milo respond with “Tempting, but I’d rather stay here. I can help anybody else get home. Hope you three get home safely.”
“Well take care Milo.” Courage says as he waves goodbye leading his parents back to his ship.
