Chapter 10: True Courage

The trio reach the front door as Courage knocks the door. It opens up revealing Muriel.

“Hello there. Who are you two?” Muriel said surprised to see three dogs at her front door.

“Hello there. You must be Muriel. Our son Conrad, or who you call Courage, was out looking for us.” said Henry.

“That was his wish. I’m Maria, and this is my husband, Henry.” Maria says, bowing a bit to be polite.

“Nice to meet you all.” Muriel says inviting the parents in. Just then Eustace came down and saw the trio of dogs.

“Who did the dog bring with him?” Eustace asks.

“We are his parents.” both said.

Muriel added “Looks like we’ve got a bigger family now.” she chuckled before heading into the kitchen to make some tea for them.

Soon night came, Courage decided to curl up with his parents.

“It’s so nice to see you both again.” Courage hugs them before falling asleep in their arms.

“So do we son.” Said Henry “So do we.”

Both parents smiled at their sleeping boy, happy that his long awaited reunion with his parents finally happened.
