Crazy, toys in the attic
I am crazy, truly gone fishin - "The Trial" by Pink Floyd
Am I a good man?
Am I a mad man?
It's such a fine line,
Between a good man....and... - "Confrontation" from Jekyll & Hyde (musical)
Basically this simple sketch, (I've been doing traditional art more lately the past few months on and off), idea came about maybe an hour ago, when the random thought of a mere word, (ouroboros to be exact, the self-consuming serpent symbol), sent my brain into an onslaught of images and memories from October involving a certain artist and comic that I would VERY Much like to forget about.
I do have a sketch of four images based on that comic lingering around, and I HAVE indeed thought of shredding it but the problem is...even if it is gone, (And I do feel a bit of pride from drawing it...if very minimal pride), well, to quote Metallica
But the memory remains
Sometimes I feel like I may never truly get over that mess, not matter what.
On the plus side, surprisingly enough, thinking over the idea and even sketching it out has alleviated my brain a little.
Originally it would've just been the look of pained insanity on the right but the more I thought it over, I figured it'd be neat in a sense to add in a dark grinning face on the left as if that is perhaps a dark inner voice of the worried individual. A "Hyde" if you will
