
Another Paint 3D test to push the software's boundaries. The technique I developed while doing the Vixel piece is to lay down smudgy color with the Watercolor then go in with the Pencil to add detail and texture. If needed, small areas of strong color can be added with the Marker then worked into the rest of the image with the Pencil. Paint 3d is not touch-sensitive for tablet pens. There are no layers so everything must be done in one go, not for the faint of heart! It is possible but it's extremely labor intensive and I started to experience some serious hand pain at this point.
Conclusion: don't use Paint 3d for 2d digital painting. lol.
