“Okay Whisper. I’m finally dressed, it’s cold as hell outside, and I’m not fully awake yet. But I’m here! What are we going to do…” Lane looked around and instantly regretted walking outside- she had disappeared on him. With her pure white fur, it was easy for her to camouflage into her surroundings and surprise him…
“I knew I should have stayed in bed but NO…” knowing what was going to ensue if he wasn’t prepared, Lane gathered up a handful of snow and made it into a ball, waited…and most importantly, listened for the elusive wolfcat. He was not scared of her; he trusted her enough to know she would never hurt him-
Throwing snow at him however, he KNEW she would do that in a heartbeat if he wasn’t careful or prepared for her sneak attacks!
“Crap, where did she go?!” Leaning against the tree, he glanced around until he saw a white, fluffy tail peeking at him from behind a tree.
“Oh #@$*...” Suddenly Lane felt an uneasy, icy presence looming behind him…
In Whisper’s defense, she is a chionophile and part arctic wolf, so cold weather doesn’t faze her like most animals and humans.
Her friends on the other hand? Do not like snow…at all. So she finds it amusing watching them suffer, err, I mean, spending time with them outdoors.
A very belated birthday and Christmas gift for my friend lanefurno9x9- and probably the last piece of Whisper’s snow day mischief (for now). Lane is the first- and probably last, friend that was willing to go outside and spend time with her in the middle of the winter. He learned the hard way to always keep his eyes on a ninja, LOL

Here we have the wolfcat in her natural habitat, ready to strike her unsuspecting prey friend. Her tail is the first…and last thing he sees before impending snow doom.In Whisper’s defense, she is a chionophile and part arctic wolf, so cold weather doesn’t faze her like most animals and humans.

LOL, thank you! When I write descriptions and stories for my art I try really hard to nail the character's personalities and situations down to a tee if I can- and we have been friends for a while so I know you pretty well...and how much you 'love' mornings and snow! I'm so glad you liked it! Getting art with your character is definitely fun; that's why I always try to get art with you when you can.
