This guy I knew while I was in the UK once sat in the hallway of our university just playing his guitar and singing this one night. Brings back memories.
IMHO it actually sounds better with a male voice.
If you try it again, try a bit more of a blues/soul feel in the vocals; it'll work, trust me.

It is great to hear your beautiful voice again. I haven't seen the movie, but I have heard the original song and I do have to say that hearing you sing it sounds much better to me. And crying to a touching scene in a movie makes you no more gay than me shedding a few tears when watching Will Smith have to kill his dog Sam in I Am Legend makes me.
Truly a great piece of work. Your voice has such a mellow tone and I've been waiting to see when you would post something so I could hear it. Though if you have, I apologize if I haven't heard it...been a little too busy lately. This was amazing. I do like Sarah's way and I love your way, with it being down in the deeper register. It had a romantic sound to it, just wonderful! Look forward to hearing more!
I'm REALLY not sure what to say, I first listened to your version pf 'Beauty and the Beast' and now this. They both gave me chills, your voice is so beautiful. youthful yet matured, and that's what alot of people are missing these days. Your songs have feeling and emotion you can hear in your voice. I thank you, and your parents, for making that beautiful voice of yours, it had brought me to tears.
I may be subconsciously biased against that song because the ASPCA plays it every five minutes on their commercials against a backdrop of starving puppies. When that's the image that the song evokes, I had best not comment. I'm sure you did an excellent job, but animal abuse ruined it for me.
