Marian (left) and Marina (right) are twin cousins of Natasha and Mikhail Moroz, born on the French side and living in the west US. Standing at 5'6", they are usually chubby but athletic. Raised in a peaceful, cheery lifestyle compared to their Russian cousins, jointly called "Mariana" by their peers due to mostly being seen together with only their hairstyles making them distinguishable, the cheerful yet shy twins never having experienced any real form of hardship and rarely lose their temper. They own a small vineyard in Lesok Village, but never bothered expanding their family business despite following their mother's goal.
Every Saturday they play in the nearby pool for two years when they noticed orange crystals inside the pool. As they touched the crystals at the same time, the twins began to hear voices telling them of their potential. The twins had one crystal used to make a shareable necklace with two silver lockets, which caused them to merged into a 2-headed bear when they interlocked the necklaces together while trying them on.
In their combined state, standing 10' with developed muscle mass, the usually naive twins become short-tempered and aggressive. Learning the crystals have mutative properties that can temporary nullified with the right cleaning agent, the twins take note that their form unleashes their innate desire to be strong and wanting to be better than Natasha whom they are mildly jealous towards and plays in their strength and bravery.
While they are averagely smart, they would rather lose focus when distracted. The twins are able to split back to normal and merge back in their super form at will, initially abusing their power to create a mutant army using their remaining crystals while making Natasha admit them to be the better ursula and become their slave. However, they have a soft spot for children, when a mutant they created attacks an orphanage, the twins' maternal instincts awaken to subdue a mutant and bring all the orphans to their safe spot. Having been acknowledged by Natasha, they begin to use their potential for good, though they still maintain their rivalry with their cousin.
While the twins are fine with mud baths and body ordor, they are heavily uncomfortable with toxic waste. But on the day they transformed, Marian noticed a broken-off shard of crystal and picked it up with her left hand as an old pipe underneath the pool broke from the pressure of too much toxic waste from the nuclear plant. Toxic geysers suddenly slime as the twins panic, Marian loosing her footing as Marina tries to grab her sister's left hand with her right-hand. But both twins end up falling into the pool before the geysers die down. Minutes later, a large two-headed figure in tattered clothes emerges from the pond while letting out a roar that could be heard across Lesok Village.
Form Powers:
1. Super Strength: The twins bears the same strength as Hypercore in their bigger form, but their body grows slightly bigger and stronger when agitated by cleaning agents, at the cost of their speed
2. Beserker Rage: The twins, usually tied to their maternal instincts and pent-up aggression, bears to their codename "Opustobliznets" through roaring and senseless rampage which scares anyone in their way or breaks down their morale
3. Enhanced twin link: The twins have a strengthened empathic bond through their necklaces that alerts one when the other is in trouble while they are separate, but the effect, while wearing them, can be nullified for an hour should one locket be exposed to cleaning agents. (i.e. detergent, soap, shampoo)
4. Toxicity Tolerance: A trait they inherited from their mother, the twins are highly resistant to most forms of toxic waste, in which they can swim or drink in toxic waste without getting sick and any cloth they wear become temporarily damaged but immune to toxic waste
"Opustobliznets" derives from Russian words близнец(bliznets) and опустошение(opustosheniye) meaning "twin" and "havoc"
