Meredith had decided to wear something more businesslike than the clothes she had come home in, and had selected a dark blue skirt and jacket, with a light blue blouse. Mercifully, everything still fit, although the jacket was a bit snug around the shoulders. Despite the decrepit look of the spaceport area, it was well-patrolled by the police and under constant surveillance by the city’s AI.
Still, she felt a bit nervous about the upcoming interview. The mare took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and went inside.
