Short Story Resume:
No one really knows where Mori´rai comes from. " not even himself " But most think that he must have come from one of the caravan wagons on their way through the villages, towards north.
For a time, Mori´rai made a small village in Eastwall his home, until the villagers started to be bothered with him stealing their fish.

Mori´rai tried to fit in with the fishermen, and started a friendship with the local villager Eric.
Following an accident/murder attempt, Mori´rai was severly injured, but was nursed back to health at Eric´s family. This event would give Mori´rai deep scars on his back which would stay with him for the rest of his life andoccasionally trouble him.

A year or so after, Eric´s family would move to the capital of Baramor and Mori´rai would follow along. He would be allowed to stay with them, as long as he would also search for a place for his own amongst his own kind.
Mori´rai happily did this, as he himself was very intrested in learning about his own kin.
Not long after moving to Baramor, Mori´rai got accepted as an apprentice at the well established merchant, Olivier Yorkstead´s shop.

And it wouldnt be lond before Mori´rai bumped into his first Yinglet-kin. a street-preforming female at night, which sadly quickly got away before he could ask anything. And the next time it was after a short day at the Yorkstead shop, where he met the stern yinglet patriarch, Casifar.
Casifar had been ordered to take Mori´rai to the enclave, so he did just that, but under the guise of a friendly invitation.
