HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is great to wear; it's big enough that I can fit into it easily but tight enough that my head isn't rattling around inside. Eye holes line up perfectly with my eyes so I have no blind spots other than my poor peripheral vision which is expected 10/10

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
maybe 8/10. The ears are significantly smaller than I would like them to be. I was provided an image to make sure they were big enough and I thought they did, but maybe the angle made them look bigger than they were because I was very underwhelmed at their size when I finally got it.. That being said though, everything else is 100%!

It's super comfortable and fits perfectly. The digi padding is absolutley gorgeous and I get compliments on it all the time! Design is spot on and everything works the way it should

100%! all markings are spot on and the patch is attached with adorable oversized string to give the appearance of a real stitched on patch. Very cute; the look is great!

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
My feet are able to move around a lot, making running quite a task but overall they're comfortable being lined with a lot of foam and then a layer of soft fabric. After having the suit for 2 years, the outdoor rubber started to peel away from the foam. I was told by friends that it should be able to stick back on using a very strong fabric adhesive and so far they have!

Hands have had no problems and the pads and fur still look and feel great!

Great! they're perfectly stompy and shape is amazing :) Even shaving and the colours match the rest of my suit!

Hands have 5 fingers so dexterity isn't a problem like it is in other suits :^) 10/10 can hold things

comfortable~ it's detachable from the suit as a whole so looping it through a belt is easy and wearing it is as comfortable as wearing any belt is~

great! The tail hole is small on the suit so when wearing the tail, you can't tell it's detatchable unless you really try to pull it off (please stop trying to pull my tail off kiddos).
I asked for a floor dragging tail and drag on the floor it DOES. I'm always getting comments on it like "look at that tail!!!" "oh my gosh that's an awesome tail" etc etc. It's a hell of a chore to clean when I wear it outside so I wish it came with like... a wrist loop so I could "hold" it up without actually holding it up but it doesn't detract from the awesome experience of the floor dragging tail :)

How well does everything fit together and match up?
the pieces fit together great! Everything matches up and looks accurate to the concept art given. Everything fits and (almost) everything is to the scale I asked for in the initial commission~ Fur choices are great (they even mailed me small swatches to let me see them in person so I knew the furs were the colours I wanted since photos and lighting can distort the colours). Padding is also easy to extract from digi legs for washing!


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
super easy! They opened up for slots a year before I commissioned them and they had *just* closed when I sent my form in. They seemed like they really liked my character though (which is important to me) so next time they opened, I applied and was accepted!


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Very satisfied. They got back to me immediately!


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
very! they were super kind, very efficient and kept me updated with everything in regards to my commission! like I said above, they even sent me physical swatches of fur labelled with numbers for me to choose which hues of the colours I liked.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I am over the moon with this part! Once they gave me general ETA for when they would start on my suit (they wouldn't start until fully paid which is totally understandable) and once I had it paid off, they gave me the date they would be working on it and they finished exceptionally fast! I hear people saying how it took their makers months or even years to make their suit but Mercury started and finished mine within the same month. I was very impressed!!!


Are you happy with the product you received?
absolutely! with the exception of the ears being much too small, this suit really exceeded my expectations! I have plans to commission a second head (with much larger ears) at some point in the future :)


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
Fantastic maker, fantastic person! Efficient, professional but also makes you feel like a friend through the whole process. They care about the characters they make and the suits they produce. 10/10 amazing experience!
