The original sketch was done about 3 or 4 years ago.

I think I fucked up the eyes... oh well

I think they eyes look great, I love the heart in the cage that gives this such a nice atmosphere. It reminds me of a tattoo, it'd make a rather interesting one too <3

This is so cool. If you open up for commissions, I would love one of Rue as a moth. XD Y'know the weird thing is I just watched the latest episode of Bleach, and the expression looks really close to Ashisogi Jizō. x3

I was kind of on the fence on wether or not to fave this picture or ot. But in the end, it was the Rayman like detached tail that finally sealed it. There's just something about that kind of deliberate detachement from reality that I abdore.

I've spent about a week trying to figure out how to express what appeals to me about this picture.
