Usurped Page 36 [END]
Welp, it's been a fun ride you guys!! Hope you've enjoyed the comic, despite how badly it's aged in my eyes currently, it really was a pivotal piece of art in my life, and I'm much more knowledgeable about how to make comics as a result! I have a tendency to go too hard on my projects, and make them all crazy long, so having a proper story in the span of 36 pages was both a challenge, but a breath of fresh air for me!

What would you change in the story now you are more experienced with sequential imagery? The biggest complaint I've heard from most artists is continuity of the images. Forgetting the placements of props or forgetting the prop altogether. Inconsistencies in the rendering of the characters.
I think the biggest thing I've learned to add in since I've made more comics after this one is that this comic would probably have greatly benefited from having "quiet" moments, just so I could have pushed the romance of the story a bit more. Having a few panels where they walk alongside each other and brush hands, for example, with no real dialogue but to just show how their relationship changes. I was quite pleased with the character and prop continuity with this project, but I'd absolutely change my background quality. The forests are very busy, they can be a bit hard to read, and then the establishing shots with the palace of the holy grail, and the inside of Vaeriyn's house were sorely lacking because I'd had a lot of difficult designing inorganic backgrounds and filling rooms with things, I'm much better at that now though.
Having a few more exciting camera angles would have also benefited the story, but that's really such a minor thing. Better establishing shots would also have been a bonus but considering the tight deadline, I'm quite pleased with the outcome of this comic and how successful it was at the convention I launched it at, many of my comic con peers have enjoyed it and I gained a fair few long-term fans as a result.
