Tori has been re-imagined as an 8 tailed fox in the same story and universe as Azelia. Being one of the extremely rare survivors of the tragedy of their hometown, Tori continues to honour her calling as the city's Enforcement Captain, helping those in need, and never showing fear.

Her magic does not come from the arcane energy as most eight tailed foxes have. She cannot wield arcane forces, but instead, channels her inner strength to manipulate light itself. The more light she has around her, the stronger her abilities are. However, this doesn't mean she's useless in the dark, just has to use more of her inner strength, and exhausting that could be dangerous for her. With enough light however, she can form it into "Hard Light" Constructs, able to create swords and other weapons out of light, or intensify light around her, blinding her foes. This does also give her the unique ability to stare at the sun without damage.

She's currently wearing her kimono, the one given to her by Azelia's mother upon reaching the rank of captain. However Tori also has an anti-arcane armour, which can absorb arcane based magical energy thrown at her. It will mitigate any damage, but Tori still feels the force behind the attack, and the crystal which absorbs the magic is limited in it's ability to absorb. When it reaches it's limit, it must expend that energy before it's able to absorb more, making her vulnerable to arcane magic again.

The character of Tori Altis belongs to my wonderful friend  DrPossibly. This imagining of Tori as a kitsune is now theirs.
