I can't draw robot critters to save my life. It doesn#t stop me from trying, tho.
He's anywhere from logic/correct, probably would fall apart IRL or otherwise don't work, but I felt like drawing scraps of metal and some wiring.

It's not an easy thing to explain, Since it's an entire culture within a storyline. But in a nutshell, Phyrexians are from the plane of Phyrexia, which is akin to a mechanical hell. They're mostly mechanical creatures, but their bodies function similar to organic creatures, and have some organic parts. Oil pumps through them like blood does through us, they often have organic eyes and brains, etc. Some of teh higher ranking ones look a lot like your buddy here. Gix for example, a main character, has a white exterior much like that.

I have to agree with the earlier comments, especially after reading them, that the design has a very Phyrexian feel to it (even though it's of much more composed, clean lines than most Phyrexian beings), but that doesn't detract from the original awesomeness of your design. I certainly wouldn't mind having one to walk down the street, even if it would be large compared to myself.
