Ivo is one of Gervas' only employees on his fishing ship. The ship is large for only having 3 people on it, but Ivo is able to pick up the slack due to his Solar Power of moving extremely quickly. This power has a limitation of only being usable if he's on a solid object. This limitation has nothing to do with the fact that he can't swim, he just never learned how. If it weren't for him being antisocial, he'd likely leave Gervas' ship to live Jatui.
