I'm more of a "Duel Sword" type of fighter myself but the way I see it, "The weapon is merely an extention of one's arm, but without proper trainning with your weapon of choice, even a spear can fall to mere fists." =w= *More of a Mage than a Warrior personally....*

Nice arm extension of the centergrip shield, if the sword is more posed forward to the opponent rather than behind her back, the combat stance will be more solid. Still, this is a nicely done picture.

It’s actually the stance I use to fight! Holding the sword behind my shield hides the strikes. ^^
