The background was painted using photos I took at Bonebeach in Southe Carolina. A completely freaky sandy beach with huge bare trees sticking up all over the place. Very dramatic landscape. 16x20 acrylic on illustration board.

Once again, you've done a great job with her hair, and the feathers (both hers and the crows') look very nice. The setting is quite striking. I'm not sure how something that stark can also be pretty...but it works. I also like the name that you gave the piece. Just a hint of mythological reference!
