In tribute to my two passed grandmothers,
I drew this vent art.

In 2014, my grandmother on my mothers side died of sepsis.
In early January this year, I lost my great grandmother, her mother.

I miss them both dearly.

They both loved dragonflies. So I made them dragonflies for this photo. This took a while and I got some much needed greenery practice.

The purple one is my grandmother, it was her favorite color on her favorite animal. And my great grandma is the pink one because she loved Himalayan pink salt which is a pale beautiful pink, she put it on almost everything.

I put evergreens in the forest and Queen Anne’s lace in the grass because they grew in both of their backyards, they loved it when I picked a bouquet for them as a kid. And I would always climb the evergreens. They also loved mornings :3 so the setting is a forest at sunrise.

This picture is very significant to me, in many ways. Opalite herself was inspired by my birthstone and both of these women. This entire photo is for them<3 I miss and love you both so much.
