So this is supposed to be a guide to all sort of Island Realm related world-building. In case anyone needed proof that I'm a complete and utter lunatic... I created an entire fictional eco-system in my head. From seasons to measurement systems to religions and waste disposal, everything you wanted to know about the Island Realm but never dared to ask is answered in this document.


This will most likely be subject to change over time.


Update #1: Added a bunch of culture related info like art & music. Llizards are now hermaphrodites and fish can switch sexes like the way clownfish can irl. Many additional notes about daily aspects like postal service, banking, funerals, shamanism, etc.
Update #2: Added info on serfdom system. Re-wrote some stuff on Source and sea monsters, sea monsters' scientific name is now Hydra but will colloquially still be referred to as sea monsters.
