Being one of my larger pieces, it was my flagship piece for the FC artshow. When I first has fleshed this out, it was when I was still doing nib work on bristol for this size, I go back and forth, but I prefer to use a nice single sheet of arches watercolor now if I can so it can take my abuse. The actual art is on 14x17 paper, the framing I believe takes her to around 20x24 or so.
I wanted to really showcase my passion for inks, and what I do outside of the fandom commissions. I first started this concept during the 2017 solar eclipse while out in my yard having a private casual solo viewing. It is a personal project I would noodle on when I had time.
The gold is several layers, with paint, and gold ink. The original is not signed in the circle, and it is matted and framed. I have the glass too. The paint on the frame needs a tiny spit shine from the gallery travels. Granted the frame could be removed too.
She is still for sale at the pretty low price industry wise of 350 usd wall ready. She is currently wrapped up and in a large shipping box.
For a modest fee I could remove her from the frame, which requires some materials waste, and some labor since she is gallery professionally prepared into the frame. The cost of the art would not be lower without the frame. It's free of charge, price reflects my art alone.
