I think I did FANTASTIC on the face. So just focus on that and the picture doesn't suck gratuitously. This is part one of two images that are me working out a set wardrobe for Kipper. Needless to say it's been rather difficult, because Kipsydoodle basically fits a lot of genres of clothing.

Nothing on this sucks.
You have a really good eye for the placement and it's easy to see what you want to do.
How do you draw? From this picture it lookes like you do short, sketchy lines. Try a contour drawing, in long, solid lines, and let it take more form, vary the thickness.
Also, clothes that fit tighter on the body have more horizontal-type folds, while loser fit clothes tend to have more vertical, or looped folds.
