I needed to take a break from necklace creation (i really should post them up just don't have a working Camera and needed to buy work boots instead) i felt the need to rest my paws and return to some pastel practice.

Now the Fawn you see is a sketch lesson from J "NeonDragon" Peffers instruction book "Dragon Art Fantasy Characters" pg 76

i needed a new outlet and what better way than to learn from other artists.
The coloring, fae and background is of my own creation, i wanted to try out new coloring and brush concepts.

This is also meant to be a birthday gift to my young niece Jade Rose, a late gift but i wanted to take a lil more time on it and see if i could discover new ground in pastel work, still a long way to go, but I'm still having fun.
