The Peace Bird is a long legged green bird with an elaborate tail featuring semicircles of feathers at the sides of it, and lots of very slim, almost shimmering ones pointing out from the base of it. They are not too good at flying, so their diet consists mostly of small beasts they hunt with their feet.
Peace Birds are considered a symbol of peace and fortune among the people of the whole archipelago, and even some other pactual species. Scribes and artists prize their feathers for writing, which have to be acquired after they fall naturally.
