so every few years i toy with the idea of potentially changing my planesona, who is currently a Dash-6 Twin Otter, into something i take less liberties on in terms of design when i draw them XD and one option that ALWAYS pops up in my mind is just a standard gyrodyne/compound helicopter form, basically a helicopter with wings that isnt based off of any specific model (though the Skikorsky S-72 is kinda close...)
this is cuz i've always thought helicopters were sexier than fixed wing planes XD but being a helicopter has WAY too many limitations, so having wings too is like the best of both worlds, while still being SUPER sexy >:3
ultimately though, im gonna stick with my Dash-6 form XD but doodles like this can be fun to do x3 a planeh can dream!

See that's intriguing, my mammalian copters fly by wearing rotor backpacks (ya know, pretty close to those odd man-copter packs in the olden days) so if anything, mine have more freedom of movement with their arms and legs, ill have to draw one for you sometime. and yeah he is mighty cute.
nice =D wearable engines are also a common feature among planes not born with propellers or rotor blades x3 natural jet engines are possible in theory, being methane powered XDXD but, turns out methane is a super inefficient gas for producing thrust lol at least in this atmosphere, so yeah x3 still plenty of aspects about my planes remain in cartoon logic, heh
would definitely love to see a mammal helicopter though =D
