EDIT - Our Page #s have shifted up a page. Don't freak out, it's because the prior scene ended up being longer than expected. Means the final printing will have a whole extra page, so it's a good thing.

We haven't seen her answering and I think she said enough for him to know that he is as good as dead or she told him exactly who bought him and knows that it means his death.
But I doubt he thinks it's the bear. That one would probably keep him alive for as long as possible. At least that's my take and there might be laws that forbid the killing of slaves. Remember that in theory they 'just' have to work off their contract and are free to go.
In any case, fleeing is not an option as they are on an island. Any ship discovering him would at least bring or send him back if he managed to stow away. I don't think any captain will or can risk loosing the island as a trading artner or even just for a stopover.

agrhhh. Amon ask for help !!! Luther Cares for you just ask he will buy you out! I need another page most now what happens next !!!!! Excellent beautiful art emotion drips my heart hurts for you Amon please don't do what I am thinking your about to do. :( love your artistic details to all who are working on this project
Luther; Anon was SOLD to a meat packing house to be served for somebody's dinner!
Too bad Anon does not know to pronounce the name "Marcus Raidien Tsunami", then a horse with amazing sword skills and magic powers would teleport, (self imposed curse) in to save Anon, simply for the pleasure of being able to get to this universe and to sample Anon's knot a few times as payment .

Tell him tell him tell him TELL HIM!!!!! You've got nothing to lose!!
Amon's the type to try not to burden other with his problems and try handle it on his own, I feel. Even if Amon doesn't tell him, at least Luther suspects something is amiss now.
Also, is this how he gets the pretty blade from the cover? Feels like the cover could take place right after this scene, when they get dressed back up.
Aaah, I can't wait for next page!

Upon reading up to this point I think the reptiles know that Amon will tell what has happened and hero boy will go ahead to stop it BUT end up walking straight into the ruse. It seems that Amon may know this inside and wants to protect Luther, but it would cost him his life. So this seems to be a catch 22 huh?
The two-and-fro between them here is painfully delicious; perfectly judged, Rukis! *Surely* Amon must open up on the next page, no??
I also love how you weave the dialogue boxes around the frames. The reader's eye follow the progression smoothly with never a hint of ambiguity; we even get all the little pauses in the speech from the separation of the speech bubbles. No small achievement, that; it just illustrates the thought and sheer amount of work that's gone into whole. The polished end result l looks so effortless, but I'll bet the effort was 100% real. Bravo.

Rukis,
Whilst this post probably will not a reply, still I hope that others can find themselves within the opinion below. As this particular page does strike home on so many levels.
We have seen Amon over just a few months of his life. The struggles he goes through on a daily basis. Yet within that time you also were able to show a kind, caring and complex man who has just been dealt a bad hand at life.
This is due to a good deal on his father's side. Yet not everything can be blamed of course on Amon's dad.
Still even with these hardships, the man himself had shown great restraint trying to make the best out of his life. From the moment at around age 4 that he was indentured. To the forcefull Divine that crept into his life. Even after being sold to countless men and women, he still retains a smile. Yet below it, his true self slowly being chipped away at by the life around him.
Amon is a complex man, more so than the comic could probably ever show, yet within this page, you were able to bring so many emotions to life in such an interesting way. The connections made to his father are quickly made, a slave wanting a chance at freedom. Seeking how to attein it, only to find out he needs to rely on others to even have a chance. Even going as far as putting himself in a deeper hole all to help and save someone else from a faith he knows too well.
The golden jackal has gone through almost the same as Ashan has... Lost his freedom at a young age like Raja… Has the will of his father to stare back at life. But even he has a breaking point. And for a man nearing his thirties, he still upholds that smile, at times a fake yes, but still a smile all the same. And I for one hope... he won't loose that smile when the comic ends. Shaan, Raja, even Kadar all were able to smile even at the end. I hope Amon can contineu to smile even beyond that.
I know many here are wishing for Luther to free Amon, but I am personally hoping for a meeting of Ashan and Amon. To those who have not read "Legacy" please go read the books, or support Rukis. Her novels add so much to this world, that reading this comic alone is a waste of such a vast and expansive world.
As such I wish to thank Rukis and her team for this wonderfull comic!
From the ancient forests in Carvecia,
To the smoldering heat of Mataa,
Even the cold of Kadrush to the North,
Or the mysterious jungles of the Dark Continent,
To the plains and hills of Amuresca.
I think, know and believe that all here wish to give thanks for this wonderfull world.
Sincerely, and happy to support this whenever possible.
