Randomly felt like trying to draw Jarvis' parents, so I did this sketchy thing! This is how they'd look around the time Jarvis was turned, so 19 years prior to 'present day'. They're older now, but still alive and probably still supervillaining.
On the left is Jarvis' father, Lucius Langley. He's a mad scientist, emphasis on the 'mad'. Hammy and completely lacking an indoor voice, maniacal laugh, owns a freeze ray, may or may not have created monsters, etc. In RPG terms, he could be described as having very high intelligence and very low wisdom -- it's a miracle he hasn't been killed in one of his insane and over-the-top experiments.
On the right is Jarvis' mother, Brook Langley (maiden name Madison). She's an ambitious, kinda Carmen Sandiego-esque thief, the sort who goes after the most ridiculously difficult-to-obtain stuff for the challenge of it (and bragging rights), and who sees it more as a game than anything and likes to taunt and play with anybody trying to catch her. Her exploits made the family very, very rich. She also knows martial arts and is a pretty capable fighter when necessary.
Their colours are based on actual ferret coat variants, on a random note. Lucius and Jarvis are champagne ferrets, Lucius with a 'blaze' marking (skunk stripe) and Jarvis with a 'panda' marking (mostly light face) and the light fingers/toes that often go with that. Brook is a cinnamon ferret with no additional markings.
I'm not entirely happy with how Brook came out, but I think Lucius came out close to perfect.

Dude these designs are fun! I love the crazy scientist look and the clothing wrinkles too.
Ya did a good job making them look like different people despite being the same species, good face variety.
They LOOK like they birthed Jarvis, too!
Brook has a lovely hairdo too. I dig the backstories.
What if she had to fight one of Lucius's horrendous monster creations? I'd love to see it.

Whee, thank you! They're basically my two favourite cartoonish villain archetypes. XD And I figure the two complement each other well, skills-wise, so as to make a good 'villainous couple' team.
Trying to make two characters of the same species look distinctly different from each other is something I try hard at, so glad you think I succeeded! And Jarvis is meant to have inherited his dad's almost-bullterrier-esque roman nose and angular cheekbones (though I realised after finishing this that I forgot the latter, but I guess the shape of his mask kinda suggests an angular face anyway? I'm too lazy to go back and fix it, ahah).
Also, Brook fighting one of Lucius' horrendous monster creations would probably be their idea of a romantic evening. XD
