History of family: The Cottons are numerous and widespread, proliferating all over Anicordia and employed variously. A favorite family joke is that you won’t find a job in the world that lacks a Cotton. Stella’s parents are good friends with the retired Sir Connor McBroc and the Grubses.

Briefly explain life story: Stella is a rare occurrence: the lone offspring of a rabbit family, whereas they usually tend to be numerous. As such, she developed a fear of being left all alone, having no one there for her, a fear that isn’t helped by her parents often being rather busy. She was usually babysat by Mrs. Grubs, who doted upon her. She grew up admiring the pictures her father had taken in his youth. When she got older, she was given her first ever camera, and began filling up innumerable albums with her handiwork. As a teenager, she witnessed the Second Coming of Ironscale, and was forced to flee Burrows when she overheard Ironscalist talk from the local weasels, resulting in her parents being kidnapped. She escaped to the Bunker of the Anicordian Order with Mrs. Grubs and Sir Connor. There, she performed reconnaissance duty for signs of unusual activity from Lionden. When the Second War for Anicordia was over, she and her parents returned to Burrows. She currently runs a homemade newsletter, which, while informative, is quite picture-heavy.
