Whenever Hiraku gets bored (which is quite hard to do in truth), he has time to plot and scheme, which often winds up with size shenanigans of all sorts. In this case, he felt Aurora, Pyre and Vapour weren't big enough for his liking! ...he doesn't need to poke us to do so, but I think he's also having fun teasing everyone.
