After having explained to Alex his size was due to nanites, and demonstrated this by returning to normal size. Alex seemed interested, and asked if he could take a look, since he was an avid programmer, maybe he could add something nice to his Arm Comp. Sounded like a reasonable request, so Flash handed his arm comp... well.. that was like 10 minutes ago, as he shifted his paws somewhat, having to readjust his stance some.

The moment the Sabreyena had it, he quickly found the controls for growth, and set it on max... and since the arm comp wasn't on his arm, the device didn't keep to scale, so all Flash could do was keep growing, and growing, and growing until the Saberyena got him back to normal, which he claimed he would... eventually, maybe.

....at least the caviat here is he can finally see if there's a limit... if there is one at all.

Not a direct sequel, as both were separate sketches, but I'd imagine this would be the exact scenario if Alex knew he could grow Flash, being an Arcanine.
