I have some questions about this scene from your story:
"For the first time in decades, Staldar cries. ‘Throwing a tantrum, like a hatchling. Shameful.’ He’s overcome by the flood of tears, flowing in rivulets down his muzzle, creating a small puddle at his feet."
1. When Staldar cried, did his tears specifically flow down:
A: The bridge of his muzzle and off the tip of his nose as he hung his head
or
B: The side of his muzzle diagonally and off his lower jaw and chin
2. Exactly how would Staldar react and what would he say to me if I hugged him, rubbed his back and licked those tears flowing down his muzzle with my tongue during the scene where he cried? Because every time I read that, I fantasize licking every last tear from Staldar's muzzle.
3. Dumb question but on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the saltiest, how salty would Staldar's tears taste on my tongue if I licked them directly from his muzzle?
4. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being freezing cold and 10 being scalding hot, how warm were those tears flowing down Staldar's muzzle?
I know these questions sound weird but please please PLEASE reply back!

Definitely some interesting questions but I'll try my best to oblige!
1, A, I think, as his head is meant to be pointed down towards the floor in this scene, so they would be falling down the length of his muzzle and dripping off the very end of his nose.
2, He would react... poorly. 😅 And then wonder how you got into his private quarters without anyone noticing. Garrison full of soldiers, and all. Good chance of ending up clapped in irons, sadly.
3, Assuming 5 is the average saltiness of a person's tears, mayyyybe ever so slightly above that? 6 or 7? Idk how much things like... diet or hydration play into tear-production, if at all.
4, Definitely an 8 or 9, especially to a non-dragonborn, as I write them with a higher core body temperature than other humanoids. Staldar in-particular runs ever so slightly warmer even than some dragonborn, either in spite of or because he's a white dragonborn (and therefore, cold resistant), I haven't decided.
