felt / wool
Obviously you need some to start needle felting~

sponge / felting mat
Something you'll use as felting surface.

felting needles
You'll need a set of special needles with barbs.
Needles come in different sizes and shapes.
40 are small needles for details, 34 are good for shaping your project, 30 are big needles for main shapes.

plastic eyes
Plastic eyes or noses will help you make more realistic pieces. You can make your own eyes from beads, clay or just felt!

wire or pipe cleaners
Bigger projects need a skeleton to hold the wool structure.

tool for needles
A tool that can hold 2 or more needles, it can help and make the felting process a bit quicker.
