Ok, so my last badge was hand drawn by me in an attempt to create an authentic badge for myself for going to cons and such. Well, even though it holds meaning to me, the drawing I did didn't really fit the bill imo for me and not really something that I feel would connect me with those who know my sona Hunter - instead with all the arts I've gotten; everyone knows Hunter in Wolnir's style, or in styles of other artists too.
So with permission from Wolnir, I was able to resize and add a name tag to the art piece she did for me a little while back: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/25207720/
It is now currently my avatar on my profile so I figured it's a good art piece to use for a badge as it not only shows Hunter but also reflects my contribution here on the site in terms of writings.
So with her permission I resized, added a name tag, printed and laminated my very own "Official" badge for Hunter for future cons!! ^^ and here's the result!
I will be including this badge with my previous, hand drawn one on a lanyard: https://imgur.com/a/t0HXEmt and with it the cons' badge with my Username.
So now I can easily be recognized by those who wish to greet me or who in a relative sense, know me/Hunter.
The first con I will go to is a local one -
Furthemore next month, so if you are attending, you just might see me and this badge there!!

Let me know what it's like - and check out the vendor tables / situation - Sass and I might be interested in joining you (next year?) if this goes well for you as vendors! That's closer for her, and gives me an excuse to come bug ya! Would be really fun for the 3 of us to go to something like we have been talking about for the last year or so on and off!
Haha as if you need an excuse to come bug me! But will definitely do, that's actually my biggest plan is to check out all the dealers/artist tables and see how the atmosphere of the con goes. It would be, which is why I wanna go to test the air so to speak so that I know what to expect when we all go lol This is a smaller con compared to Anthrocon, so it's a good way to get my feet wet so to speak and gather some info as well as meet new artists/people. But I'll definitely let you know how things go!
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's *probably* cheaper to attend as well. It might be a good idea for us to all go to something like that first so we don't spend $$$$ and then fall on our faces if we get nothing (which I doubt would happen, but ya know*
yeah, it was $50 for early bird admission, $55 at the door for the whole weekend (Fri-Sun) which I'll only be there Saturday, and maybe Sunday depending on how it goes. Good thing is it's only an hour from me, so I'll just commute, stay for a while then head home lol it's definitely a good testing grounds for tables and see how much attention you guys get for commissions, the attendance is steadily growing every year, they post the attendance record every year, last year they had over 1200 attendees - i'd imagine this year will be more! So still a good chance to get some attention for sure
