This is a really nice looking picture. Love the withers, the mane, the design of the clothing and the starry background.

Now, not riding on you over your interpretation of mythological creatures.... But I thought that Kir-Rin had dragon scales along their body. Did you find a reference of something different in Chinese mythology or just used your imagination?
