This was a profile picture for an rp I dabbled in on deviantART some time back called Elysian Academy. It didn't last too long, though... But I got a new OC out of the situation, so it's all good. :'3

I had a little help with this as far as lineart and coloring by some friends on dA, so the coloring style is just slightly different... Not dramatically so, though.

Anyway, character information~! This is actually more up-to-date than the stuff I have put on the same submission in my dA gallery, since a lot has happened between then and now...

Character Name: Tristan Dillard

Character Species: Human/Fox hybrid

Powers: He as the astonding ability to lecture you into a deep, deep sleep... Also, he can change into a fox depending on the rp setting he's in.

Height: 6'2"

Age: 32

Hair: Light blond

Eyes: Hazel/Green, depending on the day, or what he's wearing.

Orientation: Gay, taken

Proffession: English/Literature Arts Teacher

Credentials: He has studied extensively on literature in all its forms throughout history, and around the world, fueled by a great passion for the written word. He got his college diploma in English Literature, and worked for a while as a librarian before finding a job in the local college. He also knows multiple languages, including French, German, and Spanish, and several dead languages.

Hails From: The U.S., though he has a distinctive British way about him.

Appearance: He has a fairly average build, slim but not too skinny, and with enough muscle mass for him to accomplish his normal daily tasks(Which is usually sitting around reading a book). He is rather formal, and prefers the finer things in life, right down to his clothes. You will be hard pressed to find him in sweat pants. His long, blond hair is usually tied back in a braid that hangs to his hips, and his hazel-green eyes are framed by square spectacles. The only thing truly out of the ordinary with him, appearance-wise, is the russet plume of fur that is his tail, and similarly-colored fuzzy ears (Though to be honest, the 'rarity' of that is relative...).

Personality: Tristan is the kind of person who prefers things as they would be 'just right' for him. He could be considered slightly OCD and nitpicky, and it is not a far streatch to say he has a bit of a stick up his ass. He has a great sense of properness and order, and won't stand for the interruption of said order, especially when teaching a class or maintaining a library. Expect many 'SHHH's from him.

The only person he could be said to be more relaxed around is his current boyfriend, Jack. Indeed, he is very much like a whole other person around him, flirting and following him around like a lovesick puppy(Which is more or less what he is).

Brief History: Nothing too extraordinary... He grew up in the United States and, despite much teasing for being what he was (Both a hybrid, and a bookworm), he went on to study world literature, and how it has shaped the world we currently live in.
He had only a few relationships growing up, though they were mostly serious commitment types that lasted at least two years. For a time, he was involved with a younger man named Zane, a ram-hybrid who was in college for game design. They met while Tristan was working in a library, and after their initial date, the two were quite been quite insepperable (Despite the fact that Zane was several years younger than him, as well as an enthusiast to those 'Damned video games that are ruining the minds of youth in today's soceity', or at least as Tristan would call them.), and were even engaged to be married.

Though, sometimes things work out, and sometimes they don't, and Tristan found himself single one again. After breaking out of such a serious relationship, it was a while before he genuinely grew close to anyone again. Not until a chance meeting with a wolf named Jack in a coffee shop one brisk autmn day, at least... Though their relationship is still a little wobbly on its new legs, the strict and upstanding fox has grown quite fond of him.
