
I went with some friends and explored this abandoned factory that had been hit by a fire long ago. It was full of graffiti, crumbling walls, giant broken down machines, rusted catwalks, harsh shadows cast by fans rattling in the wind, and lots and lots of dust and ashes. There were even a few pages of records that survived which were dated like forty years ago. Lots of history in there.
One particularly interesting corridor looked like something right out of Star Wars. It was probably used as a movie set at one point because the pipes didn't actually connect anything.
While there was a lot of really neat stuff there, this is the only photo I took, as we were leaving.

That was my first thought, too. Well, the climbing part. I thought parkour would be awesome, but it turns out the place is too dangerous the way it's falling apart, there's gunk everywhere you really don't want to touch, and half the stuff there is covered in asbestos, which you really don't want to be touching. :(
