So there I was shufflin' big ol' round bales when someone in my head something about some meme somewhere. Now, back to chores.

Handsome devil. Careful with that cigar around that hay, though.
Because of a story a co-worker told me. After his house was built he had someone out there blowing straw onto what was going to be the lawn, to hold things in place until the grass started growing, right? They have a special machine for that; takes entire bales of straw, chops them, and spits them out with a powerful blast of air. It's called a mulcher or hydro-mulcher or something like that, I think.
Anyway, the guy doing it wasn't familiar with the machine; he'd borrowed it, in fact. So when one of the bales of straw started burning from the machine's muffler, without thinking he grabbed it and threw it into the mulcher. His instinct was that this would put the fire out.
Not quite.
Baaaaaa---WHOOOOOOOMMMMMM. Made a surprisingly effective flamethrower. Basically made the machine into a puddle of steel, too. My friend, or my faulty memory, might be exaggerating a bit on that last point, but that was the gist of it.
