This is a character from an RP I was in (one that finally wrapped up after about 7 months of several-times-a-day-every-day posing). She was a minor character (the major character spot went to a certain preyish foxtaur and wasn't intended to be anything but a minor character but, well, she was something of a breakout hit.

In the roleplay, the kingdom of Quicknest was a prey-species-majority nation, with hunting laws that heavily favored prey species. The royal family is mostly mice, with a few other rodents.

Sunnywhisker was the result of an 'official dalliance' between Prince Flowerdance of Quicknest and Princess Mayverick (an eagle) of the neighboring Kingdom of Clawatka. Clawatka being a majority predator nation, basically the mirror of Quicknest. The rules in regard to nobility and royal families and crossbreeding are a bit complex in that world and I don't want to waste several more paragraphs describing them (this is getting a bit wordy as it is), but basically despite the Princess of Clawatka having laid her egg, she's not part of that royal family and has no claim to the throne there, only to Quicknest.

So she's supposed to be a nice sweet quiet mousie princess, having tea parties in court and looking pretty and maybe one day getting snapped up by some big cat or something... but instead her eagle heritage came through a lot more than her mouse heritage, and she's a predator, not a prey, defying all the expectations placed upon her by her family and society. That's how you get a 'princess' that performs in a heavy metal band (check the t-shirt), goes out hunting, and keeps a baseball bat close at hand.

At the time the RP introduced her, she'd been temporarily exiled from her home country by King Summershine (her uncle) for hunting someone she shouldn't have (Out of Control Princess Eats Diplomat, per the tabloid headlines) and is hanging out with her not-family in Clawatka, who appreciate her predatorial side a bit more than the quiet mice of Quicknest.

(Ironically, the guns she carries openly are one of the few things her mouse family doesn't object to, they're heirloom weapons that belonged to her late grandfather).

I could talk for pages more about this character, but I'll save it. Suffice to say that she's an unexpected breakout and I absolutely adore her.
